Introductory Information about Roger
"I am a local man who was born in Harpenden. Schooled at Manland juniors then on to Sir John Lawes. Played all sports at school and as an adult football for Harpenden. Trained and worked in the St Albans printing industry. After marriage and two children my wife and I owned and ran two businesses one in Harpenden The Milton Hotel and one in St. Albans Grays Guest House. We did this for 25 years.
After selling the businesses we moved to Redbourn where I became a parish councillor 12 yrs ago and then a district councillor. After my four year term I decided to concentrate on my parish work so did not stand again as a candidate for St Albans District Council. I sit on various committees in council. With my business background it gives another perspective to the council.
I love Redbourn and play my part in improving the village for all its residents."
