Planting in Cumberland Garden

Planting in Cumberland Garden

Our facilities officer Zoe Urrejola and John Pidgeon and the grounds maintenance team have been busy working in Cumberland Garden. They've tidied up around the pergola and added some much needed wire mesh and lines to support the climbing plants.

In addition to this, they've added in some new plants to the bed at the top of the garden near the Health Centre.

Unfortunately 2 plants in this bed have gone missing; a salvia and cotinus which is very disappointing given the time and money spent, but this aside we think they've done a great job.

This work is all part of a bigger project in sprucing up the garden and improving this green space off our High Street for the whole community to enjoy.
