Council tax energy rebate 'scams'

We have been notified of 'scammers' claiming to be from the Council, asking for people's bank account details in order to pay them the energy rebate they are entitled to. Please see the link, which explains how the District Council will be paying the energy rebate.

No 34 Bus service

As you know, Centrebus have de-registered the above service with the last day of operation being on the 7th May.

We have been advised by Herts County Council (HCC) that they have found a replacement operator in the shape of Red Eagle who will deliver a very similar timetable to the one currently operated by Centrebus. Cllr Maria Maynard

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cllr Maria Maynard who passed away on 10th February 2022. She had been a serving member of the Parish Council since May 1995 and will be missed by her fellow Councillors. Our condolences go to her family and friends.

It was with great sadness that we heard the news of the passing of Tony Swendell. He worked tireless for residents of Redbourn in his role as Parish Councillor and then District Councillor for many years. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

Litter Bins

For those of you that have voiced concerns about the overflowing bins in Cumberland Garden, they will be emptied tomorrow. For some reason, St Albans District Council did not empty whilst on their rounds on Monday.
