Play area damage

Play area damage

We've had a few incidents reported to us of damage in the play areas: fence at Flamsteadbury Lane has bean pulled apart, filling removed between the tiles at Long Cutt and glue on the slide and broken glass at East Common.

Unfortunately the recently replaced hip hop at Long Cutt and the boat at East Common are also showing signs of misuse.

Ragwort clearing

Ragwort clearing

John Pidgeon and the team have been clearing the ragwort from the conservation area. Whilst its great for pollinators, we need to prevent it growing vigorously and becoming too established as large amounts are not too friendly for animals.
