We have been notified of 'scammers' claiming to be from the Council, asking for people's bank account details in order to pay them the energy rebate they are entitled to. Please see the link, which explains how the District Council will be paying the energy rebate.

Inspectors are recommending that St Albans District Council withdraw the Draft Local Plan due to a failure demonstrate the Duty to Co-operate with other strategic policy making authorities. Read the report in full here

Update on SADC draft Local Plan

Inspectors are very critical of the draft Local Plan, expressing huge concerns over legal compliance regarding SADC's duty to co-operate and involvement with the community. Furthermore inspectors have questioned the overall the soundness of the plan in multiple areas, particularly the policies for development on green belt, which is mostly in Redbourn Ward.
