This weeks #throwbackthursday takes us back to one of the first Redbourn news issues in 2005 when it was all in black and white!

It features the first Redbourn Neighbourhood Watch meeting. Back then as today thankfully there was very little crime in the village. Distraction burglaries seemed to be on the increase.

Fireworks Raffle Prizes

Raffle tickets now available in support of Redbourn Fireworks Display. Fireworks team are trialling selling the tickets at £5 each this year. This is in response to feedback about long queues to buy tickets due to the time it takes to fill in contact details when people buy multiple tickets prices at a £1 each.

This weeks #throwbackthursday takes us back to 2004, topical because it is about work needed at the River Red when the willow trees suffered damage in high winds.

Work done by Dave and the team at DBS to re-pollard the willow trees this week is necessary to help protect them from similar damage by storms this winter
